Surprisingly, during the lockdown period business has been fairly steady.
In the first week or two, it was looking a bit dismal, poor sales, and very little interest shown in products, but that was only to be expected I suppose as people were unsure of the future to a degree.
It was by the third week that things started to improve slightly and a few sales were made and from there onwards it just got better and better.
I wouldn’t say sales were back to normal, but it was a definite upturn in both interest and purchases made.
I think the only real problem that occurred was with postage, although even that was not overly drastic, it was just a case of having to find a parcel drop-off point that was still open and relatively near.
Thankfully, it was all manageable and business was able to continue.
Hopefully, now that lockdown restrictions have eased, business may continue to improve and possibly even return to or surpass previous levels, or is that just a case of wishful thinking.
Either way, I hope your business has not suffered nor has your enthusiasm been dampened too much and you can still see potential in the sublimation business.
